Hu Xiaotian followed Enhe through three successive courtyards to Wild Goose Tower. Several warriors from the Yulan Kingdom stood guard outside it as well. At the sight of Enhe, they all placed their right hands over their hearts and bowed.
Without a word, Enhe walked straight into Wild Goose Tower. Hu Xiaotian followed him inside, and the main doors slowly closed behind them. When he had broken into Wild Goose Tower at night before, he had encountered numerous mechanisms and traps, so he remained full of caution and vigilance.
Enhe chuckled. "Brother, have you been to the Red Mountain Guildhall before?"
"I've heard of it for a long time, but this is my first visit," Hu Xiaotian replied with a smile.
Enhe swept his gaze over Hu Xiaotian's face. "But this shouldn't be your first visit to Wild Goose Tower, should it?"
Hu Xiaotian kept feeling that there was something strange about his words. By then, Enhe had already reached the bull's head that activated the secret chamber. He switched the positions of its two horns. The antique display shelves creaked and rattled, revealing an opening to the secret chamber below.
Of course Hu Xiaotian knew the secret here. Yet Enhe had revealed it to him before even establishing his identity. Just who was this man? Why would he expose this secret without first finding out who Hu Xiaotian was?
Looking at Enhe's corpulent figure, Hu Xiaotian could not help thinking of Xue Shengjing. But Enzuo was clearly taller and larger than Xue Shengjing, while Xue Shengjing was fatter and had smaller eyes. Enhe's eyes were pale green, and his hair and beard were purplish red. Apart from their shared corpulence, there was nothing alike about the two men.
Enhe was already striding briskly into the secret chamber.
