Li Chang'an's face turned ashen. He stared blankly at the hole that had suddenly appeared before him, his expression awkward in the extreme.
Hu Xiaotian climbed out of the dust-filled hole. Though somewhat disheveled, he still wore the expression of a general returning in triumph. Beaming, he said, "Thank you for letting me win. Pure luck!"
Li Chang'an said nothing and slowly nodded. Then he suddenly slashed his palm through the air toward the ground, raising a wall of dust and earth that swept straight at Hu Xiaotian's head.
Seeing a wall of yellow earth come hurtling toward him, blotting out everything before him, Hu Xiaotian nearly had his soul scared out of his body. He hurriedly ducked his head back into the hole.
Li Chang'an did not actually intend to hurt him. He merely wanted to embarrass him and recover a little face before the others.
