Hu Xiaotian had finished roasting the big fish. Looking up, he saw Huo Shengnan walking over from the river in a moon-white robe, her black hair loose over her shoulders. She apparently had not had time to bind her chest, leaving its rolling peaks in full view. She wore no mask. Her long brows were like painted strokes, her beautiful eyes clear and bright, her allure tempered by a martial boldness. Fresh as a lotus rising from the water, she left Hu Xiaotian staring in a daze.
Seeing him stare straight at her, Huo Shengnan flushed and snapped, "What are you looking at? What's so interesting?"
"You are," Hu Xiaotian said with a grin. "You really are quite a beauty."
"I don't need you to tell me that." Huo Shengnan glared at him. Noticing that he was still staring at her breasts, she instinctively hunched her shoulders. "Keep looking and I'll gouge out those thieving eyes of yours."
"I'm just curious," Hu Xiaotian said. "You used to be an airfield. How did you suddenly turn into Mount Everest?"
"What airfield? What Everest?" Huo Shengnan was utterly bewildered.
Hu Xiaotian pointed at his own chest. "It used to be flat. How did it suddenly get so big..." Before he could finish, a white blur flashed before his eyes as Huo Shengnan punched straight at them.
Hu Xiaotian was no longer the greenhorn he had once been. He hurriedly leaned back, only to discover that her punch was a feint. She hooked his leg and sent him sprawling. Afraid the big fish would hit the ground, he held the wooden stick aloft with both hands. Huo Shengnan snatched the roast fish away, sniffed it, and said, "Smells wonderful! I didn't know you were such a good cook!"
