Following Ying, Luo Yu and Monica arrived at an underground base in the Space Station.
The place brimmed with futuristic technology, with intricately engineered steel fortifications everywhere.
There was all manner of advanced equipment, too.
All of it was used to help the squad members cultivate and carry out their work.
Although the base was underground, it was incredibly spacious.
It was like a small town built beneath the ground.
There was even an artificial sun high overhead.
Clearly, the technological prowess of the Myriad Heavens Star Realm was among the greatest in the Universe.
The three took an elevator down into the underground world.
Soon, an Intelligent Robot stationed nearby, dressed in a black suit, came over to greet them.
"Welcome home, Captain! Who are these two?"
Team Leader Ying replied calmly, "They're new members of our squad. Personnel will transmit their data shortly."
"Remember to enter it into the system."
"Take us to the Arena now."
The Intelligent Robot responded in an expressive voice with a slightly mechanical timbre, "Understood."
Then his entire body began to transform, soon becoming a large Hoverboard.
It was big enough to hold all three of them.
"Hop on. He's the base's intelligent service robot. If you have any questions in the future, you can ask him."
Ying's black military boots clicked against the floor as she stepped onto the Hoverboard.
Luo Yu and Monica exchanged a glance, then followed her aboard.
The Hoverboard then performed a spatial jump.
It instantly carried the three of them into a lavishly decorated Arena.
At the center of the arena, an old man whose hair, beard, and eyebrows were all made of flames was locked in a fierce battle with a fairy standing on a Seven-Colored Lotus Throne.
