Looking at Little Iron, with mud on his head and misery written all over his face, Jiang Nian felt, for the first time in ages, as though she was picking on an honest soul.
"Sorry about that... How about I recommend a hairstylist who can help fix you up?"
Much as she wanted to say he was unlucky to have run into her, what little conscience she had left wouldn't quite let her.
Wen Jincheng also cleared his throat and sincerely apologized to the victim. "Sorry. It seems we've caused you quite a bit of trouble today."
Still, he hadn't met many people as unlucky as this guy.
Only after seeing the two of them apologize so sincerely did Little Iron feel a little better.
He waved it off magnanimously. "It's fine. I'm just having one of those days when even a sip of water gets stuck between my teeth."
Then he introduced himself to them.
"Well, at least we got to know each other through all this. I'm Tie Bi. What about you?"
Jiang Nian froze for a moment when she heard his name.
Your surname really is Tie?
She asked somewhat hesitantly, "Then do you have an older brother named Copper Wall?"
With a name like that, it was hard not to make the connection.
This clearly wasn't the first time Tie Bi had been asked that. He merely smiled at her. "What do you think?"
Jiang Nian shut her mouth.
Guess that's a no, then.
She pointed at herself, then at her companions beside her, introducing them to Tie Bi one by one.
"I'm Jiang Nian, and he's Wen Jincheng. Those others who were playing with us just now-we're all from Class 1-2."
When Tie Bi heard which class they were from, realization dawned on his face.
