Qi Wu looked at Grillman.
The room fell silent for a few seconds.
Then...
Qi Wu suddenly pointed at himself.
"So what you're saying is..."
"You want me to run into someone else's Mindscape and beat the hell out of a Primordial Era queen's remnant soul?"
Grillman nodded.
"Exactly."
Qi Wu pointed at Lilith next.
"And rescue her while I'm at it?"
"Exactly."
Qi Wu rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Sounds dangerous."
Grillman sneered.
"Of course it's dangerous."
"At her peak, the Bloodslayer Queen was a being beyond even an Awakener."
"Even with only a wisp of consciousness remaining, she's far beyond what an ordinary demigod can contend with."

Qi Wu suddenly clapped his hands.
"Doesn't that sound incredibly fun?"
Everyone: "..."
Jiang Qingyue covered her face.

The corner of Gale's mouth twitched.
A normal person's first reaction to something like this would have been to assess the risks carefully.
But this guy clearly wasn't normal.
Qi Wu was already getting excited.
"A Mindscape dungeon."
"A final boss."
"A hidden storyline."
"And a quest to rescue my servant."
"This setup has to be the main quest of the patch, right?"
Lilith's face instantly flushed red.
"Wh-who's your servant?!"
Qi Wu looked perfectly serious.
"Future tense."
"I'm just using the title in advance."
"Nothing to lose, anyway."
Lilith: "..."
A vein throbbed faintly on Grillman's forehead.
He suddenly began to wonder whether he had approached the wrong person.
But a moment later...
Qi Wu's smile faded.
His Six Eyes slowly turned toward Grillman.
"Where?"
Grillman froze.
"What?"
"Where will the ritual take place?"
Qi Wu spoke evenly.
"If there's a way..."
"Then let's do it."
"We can't actually send this little vampire into the final battle with a ticking time bomb
