Ji Yanzhi took it and read it carefully, then handed Ji Ting the list he had drawn up.

After reading it, Ji Ting looked up in confusion. "Why isn't Brother Shen on here?"

"Somehow, he caught wind of our wedding. He took half of the few shares he had left and divided them into two portions, dressing it up as a wedding gift for us."
Ji Ting said nothing. They both knew perfectly well that Ji Zhenting could never sincerely wish them well. It was merely another calculated move, another attempt to test the waters now that he had nowhere left to turn.
The corner of Ji Yanzhi's mouth lifted in something almost like a sneer. "When he gave them to me, he begged me in a humble voice not to wipe out the rest of the Ji Family. Then
