Something came up, guys. I posted three free chapters in the early hours, and afterward I was still planning to update with six thousand characters tomorrow and asking you all for votes.
Then this morning, I found out I'd received the notice to go premium.
I don't have much of a chapter backlog, so I've spent the whole day racing to write.
The tentative plan is to release the VIP chapters tonight at 23:50. Until then, I'll try to write as much more as I can.
Once the book goes premium, I expect to release ten chapters totaling over twenty thousand characters, possibly another two chapters on top of that.
When the time comes, please buy that first premium chapter, guys.
This book of ours doesn't draw much traffic. Even now, it has fewer than three thousand bookmarks.
Fortunately, of those fewer than three thousand readers, over a thousand have been following the updates every day. You guys really do come through-when you have votes, you actually cast them for me.
Now all this little author can do is pray that more of those thousand-plus guys following along are paying readers.
Next, let's talk about updates after the book goes premium.
The plan is to release five chapters a day, and I'll aim for three thousand characters in each chapter.
That means fifteen thousand characters a day.
I solemnly promise not to post those huge chapters of five or six thousand characters, or even over ten thousand.
Those huge chapters are far too easy to pad out, and they're tiring to read, too.
As for bonus chapters...
Those will depend on first-chapter purchases in the first twenty-four hours. For every hundred additional purchases within those twenty-four hours, I'll release one bonus chapter.
After the first day, I'll go by average
