Li Wei reached the strange wooden cabin without much trouble.
The place looked utterly lifeless. There wasn't even a body left behind. Frankly, if the system hadn't confirmed the Phantom Killer's death, Li Wei would have assumed he had escaped.
Did that guy really die in a nightmare? What a pathetic way to go.
Forget it. There's no point thinking about that now.
Li Wei gathered his thoughts and began searching the cabin.
The cabin was very bare, with nothing to suggest anyone lived there. There was only a bed, a table and chair, and a wooden chest. The table was covered with all sorts of bizarre potion bottles that immediately brought witchcraft to mind. Inside them were things resembling dried animal corpses.
Li Wei didn't know what the Phantom Killer used them for, nor did he want to.
Still, his search wasn't entirely fruitless. He found a notebook in the table drawer.
Whatever language it was written in, Li Wei couldn't read a word.
There was, however, one thing in the notebook he could understand. A sheet of paper was tucked between its middle pages-a fragment of a map.
Someone had drawn a circle on the fragment in red ink, then drawn an All-Seeing Eye symbol beside it.
Don't tell me this thing is connected to the All-Seeing Eye too.
Come to think of it, the All-Seeing Eye really is everywhere. Though that's only natural for a creator god... Hmm...
Li Wei checked the map. If he remembered correctly, the circled area should be the Orlens Mountains in northern Mericia.
I remember the governor mentioning some primitive tribes living there... Looks like I'll have to make the trip.
Afterward, Li Wei carefully searched the cabin again, but found nothing except an altar.
An All-Seeing Eye symbol was carved into
