I went to the community clinic for an IV today. The doctor prescribed a cephalosporin and an antiviral. I was fine with the first bottle, the cephalosporin, but after they switched to the antiviral, my stomach started feeling awful and I broke out in a sweat all over. I didn't dare finish it, so I had them stop. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious. I'll wait and see. If I'm not better tomorrow, I'll go to the hospital for a complete blood count. If I'm better, then all's well... Still, the doctor at this community clinic really knew a thing or two. The last few times, my nose and throat were inflamed, and taking anti-inflammatory medication alone meant I recovered really slowly. This doctor prescribed loratadine, and I felt much better after taking it-at least better than before. Turns out all those bouts of nasal inflammation were allergies... No idea what I'm allergic to, though... The allergy tests didn't find anything either...
Updates will resume tomorrow. Just let this kitty lie around for one more day. I'm getting old-a bedridden kitty now.
