Alice was an ordinary girl.

Yet one day, she wandered into this fantastical realm by mistake.

Where was she?

Alice did not know.

So she ran here and there, searching for a way out.

Then Alice met a rabbit.

"I'm late, I'm late, I'm late."

Holding a pocket watch, Mr. Rabbit ran toward some unknown destination. Alice tried to call him to a stop, but Mr. Rabbit ignored her.

So Alice grew very angry. She chased after him, pulled a small knife from inside her clothes, and slit his throat. The rabbit collapsed, twitching, but Alice did not care. She simply stabbed his body again and again, until blood covered his white fur.

There. That was better.

Alice was very pleased with everything she had done. No one could ignore Alice. Anyone who ignored Alice would get what they deserved.

But that was a rabbit, not a person, you know?

Perhaps so.

Alice looked around, still unsure where to go. She had asked the rabbit so many times just now, but all he did was scream. Alice had told him he would be stabbed if he did not answer her questions, yet the rabbit had only kept screaming.

After all, he was only a rabbit. He probably could not understand human speech. What a shame.

So Alice continued onward.

(Cross this part out.)

"I'm going to be late, I'm going to be late, I'm going to be late."

The white rabbit came running up from behind, holding a pocket watch and looking anxious.

"Ah, Mr. Rabbit, wait for me."

Alice called out to Mr. Rabbit, but he seemed deaf to her cries and kept running forward. Alice followed him, but she could not keep up. All she could do was watch, panting, as Mr. Rabbit drew farther and farther away.
