After finishing his investigation with Mobius, Li Wei left straight away. Of course, before he left, Mobius cried and made a fuss, terrified that the other party would come back to kill him. Li Wei, however, remained quite calm.
"You won't die."
"How do you know?"
"That note said you'd die if you kept playing Noan, right?"
"Yes."
"Look at yourself. Can you still perform?"
As Li Wei spoke, he glanced at Mobius's two legs, both in casts. Mobius froze for a moment... Well, all right. He certainly couldn't perform now.

The next day, Li Wei returned to the Golden Mead Club's library and soon found the petite figure who habitually curled up in a corner to read.
"Hello, Miss Matilda."
Li Wei sat down across from the girl and greeted her. Hearing him, Matilda froze for a moment, then hastily put down her book.
"Ah, h-hello... Sir Li Wei... Good morning?"
As she spoke, Matilda glanced out the window, seemingly checking what time it was.
"Good morning. There's something I'd like to ask you."
"Wh-what is it?"
Matilda looked extremely nervous at Li Wei's question. With anyone else, that would have been suspicious, but Li Wei knew that Matilda behaved this timidly around everyone.
"Did you write the Eye of the Goddess Troupe's new script?"
