"Pfft."
The bullet left the muzzle with a sound no louder than a loud fart. Benjamin had told Li Wei that although a suppressor reduced the noise from the muzzle, it also reduced the bullet's range and power.
But Li Wei did not care about such trifles.
Because his bullets did not need range!
The bullet hurtled forward, sliced through the night, and plunged straight into one sentry's eye. It spun through his brains, churning them into mush, then burst out through the lower back of his skull and continued forward, piercing the head of the other sentry standing back-to-back with him.
Without a sound, both men crumpled to the ground like puppets with their strings cut.
"All right, let's keep moving."
Li Wei glanced around, then spoke in a low voice. At the same time, he looked at Annie.

"With the current frequency of patrols, probably only ten minutes."
"Then let's keep moving."
At that, Li Wei wasted no more words. He nodded to the two women and continued forward. The evacuation point he had chosen was a park on the outskirts of Yasensite City. Few people came here, and its relatively high elevation made it a suitable place for the Eye of the Sky to pick them up.
There were no guards nearby for one simple reason-the park's large iron gates had been welded completely shut. No one could get in or out.
But that was certainly no obstacle for Li Wei.
"Katie, open the gate."
"Okay!"
Katie immediately perked up at Li Wei's command. She had followed him all this way without having anything to do and had been so bored she was almost yawning. Now that he had given her an order, she dashed forward in
