Sitting in her chair and looking at the decorations around her, Annie was filled with mixed emotions. Although she came from the Empire, her feelings toward it were far from warm. For one thing, those hateful religious believers had always condemned and rejected her and her grandfather's research as the wisdom of demons. The door opened, and Li Wei and Katie walked in.
