Through observation, Li Wei had narrowed down the search area, but that did not mean the entrance would be easy to find. Worse, the location was not high up on a mountain, but deep among the peaks, which meant others were quite likely to find it too. Worse still, a Cront army camp stood not far away. They had set up camp here, clearly intending to use it as a base for their search.

Brute force really did work wonders. If Li Wei had that many people, he would not bother with deductions either. He would simply send everyone out to comb the area.

But what are we looking for?

Li Wei switched his vision back to the Doll Bird. From the air, he could clearly make out the mountain range's shape, like a flower in full bloom. Its center was right here, but he had found no trace of anything man-made nearby. All he could do now was search the area thoroughly with Jeanne and hope her memories would once again prove useful in some predictable way.

Unfortunately, Jeanne's memories yielded nothing.

Was this the entrance to the castle?

Li Wei looked around, uncertain. They were hundreds of meters below the summit. What sort of castle could be built that tall?

Still, this would answer the question Jeanne had raised. She had once said that building a castle high in the mountains was extremely difficult, because getting workers and materials up those rugged slopes was almost impossible. At the foot of the mountain, however, that problem was clearly solved. Assuming the entrance really was here, the Saintess's construction crew would only have needed to cross the forest and bring everything onto the slope. There would have been no need to trek over mountains.

But where was the entrance?
