The crew of the Eye of the Sky blinked at his remark.
"But sir, after its refit, the Eye of the Sky is incredibly powerful!"
Indeed, the Eye of the Sky that Li Wei was aboard had undergone its second refit.
This time, however, its appearance was completely different from before.
First came the frame. Apart from the main framework, which remained unchanged, all of the Eye of the Sky's exterior armor had been replaced with mithril. Not only that, even its shape had changed as a result.
Traditionally, airships had always been designed with a gondola suspended beneath a gas envelope, with no more than light armor fitted around the envelope itself. That was perfectly normal. After all, airships relied on their gas envelopes for lift. If a pile of heavy objects was attached to the envelope itself, they would never be able to fly very high.
With mithril, however, that was no concern. In fact, the refitted Eye of the Sky was more than twice its previous size, yet its weight had fallen by nearly half!
