Where was this?
Sophia looked around in confusion. She vaguely remembered sleeping in the passenger cabin of the Eye of the Sky just moments ago, so why had she opened her eyes to find herself sitting in an unfamiliar room?
Sophia wanted to speak, but for some reason, she couldn't make a sound. She could only look at her surroundings, as though her body didn't belong to her at all.
But this place was so beautiful...
Although Sophia wasn't treated particularly well at home, she was still a Princess. Before her parents died, they had taken her to many places, where she had seen plenty of magnificent buildings. Yet none of those places seemed as luxurious as this room. Dazzling crystal wall lamps lined the walls, benches were draped in soft furs, and the table before her was laden with all sorts of delicious-looking fruit.
Was I... dreaming?

As Sophia curiously studied her surroundings, a sudden burst of urgent knocking nearly made her jump. But this body refused to obey her. "She" stood, walked to the door, and opened it.
The next instant, Sophia saw a face covered in blood!
"Eek!"
Had Sophia been in her own body, that sight alone would have frightened her into collapsing. But this body was entirely beyond her control. It simply stood there, looking at the blood-covered person before her. Sophia couldn't even close her eyes. She was forced to watch.
The man's clothing was strange, nothing like modern attire. He wore armor and carried a spear, dressed like an ancient guard.
"What happened?"
