Luckily, the problem wasn't too serious. My pancreas, kidneys, and everything else were normal, and there were no other abnormalities anywhere in my body. Since it was caught early, it hadn't caused much damage, though the fatty liver was a bit severe. Right now, I'm on an insulin pump to control my blood ketones, with medication to help regulate things. My eyesight has declined a little, though, so I'm planning to get glasses (the doctor actually said I could go without them, but since I need to drive, I'll get a pair anyway). Once I'm discharged, I'll buy a dog and walk it every day for exercise. I absolutely have to go back to the mountains. I had no health problems at all up there, but as soon as I came to the city, they all cropped up. Sigh, what rotten luck. I don't even know how many more days I'll have to stay in the hospital, so I might as well use this time to sort out all my minor health issues. Everyone, please take care of your health too, meow. Once I'm discharged, this kitty will be a cultured kitty who wears glasses, walks a dog, and drives.
