When Li Wei first learned that the Holy Lord Church had interfered in this world, his immediate reaction was that the Church had to be the mastermind behind everything.
Fortunately, as a detective, Li Wei relied on evidence rather than speculation. As he followed the clues and searched for proof, he finally realized something was wrong.
On the surface, this was a conflict between the Holy Lord Church and the Sun Temple, but Li Wei had discovered another participant.
An Outer God.
He still wasn't sure of its true identity, but judging by the available clues, it had probably fallen from the sky and then been sealed away by the Sun Temple.
And then, most likely, it had been released.
Since the Sun Temple showed no signs of having been attacked or damaged, Li Wei was inclined to believe its seal hadn't been accidentally broken during a battle between the Church and the Temple. He suspected the Sun Temple had deliberately released it.
The reason was simple: the Sun Temple probably couldn't beat the Holy Lord Church.
In fact, Li Wei could even guess some of the reasons. The Sun Temple and the Holy Lord Church likely shared the same roots, both stemming from the same sun worship, while the Church worshipped an omnipotent, one true God. Although Li Wei wasn't sure what the Church's current situation was, considering the peculiarities of this world, the Church's long history, and its enormous number of believers-
-the Sun Temple probably stood no chance.
After all, this world had only four cities in total. Its entire population probably wasn't even as large as that of a medium-sized city in the Empire. If strength was determined by the number of believers, the Holy Lord Church could absolutely crush the Sun Temple.
What would the
