Tsunade chased the man all the way out of Konoha, but he still showed no intention of stopping.
Crack!
Tsunade snapped a large tree, hoisted it with one hand, then gathered her strength and hurled it!
"I told you to stop! Didn't you hear me?!"
Boom...!!
The flying tree crashed down, blocking the man's path!
The man stopped and slowly turned around.
When Tsunade saw his face, she gasped. "You're Madara Uchiha!?"
Although she had never seen Madara alive, she had seen his statue at the Valley of the End and recognized him at once.
Madara Uchiha greeted her. "Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, Hashirama's granddaughter. You really are as hotheaded as the rumors say. The moment you saw Hashirama's face on my chest, you couldn't contain yourself and came chasing after me..."
Tsunade stared at him. "My grandfather's face on your chest... So the intelligence was right. You obtained his cells. But why do you have a Byakugan?"
Madara said casually, "Oh, this Byakugan? I took it from a Hyuga Clan member I just killed. It's quite useful."
Tsunade's gaze sharpened. "You just transplanted it? You're supposed to be a product of Impure World Reincarnation. How could you transplant a living person's eyes? Have you already freed yourself from your reincarnated body?"
"Oh?" Madara sounded slightly surprised. "You seem to know quite a bit about this. Are you a Medical Ninja?"
That was as good as an admission!
Tsunade clenched her fists. After a moment, she regained her composure and probed, "Madara, why did you go to such lengths to lure me here? Are you planning to hold me, the Hokage, hostage and control Konoha?"
"Heh heh heh..." Madara laughed before replying, "Do I look like someone who would take such a roundabout approach? I'll be direct.
