In his haste, he switched places with one of his Limbo shadows!
This was one of the additional abilities of Limbo: Border Jail, useful for escaping danger in an emergency!

The mountain landed on the water. Its slopes pressed against the two statues before the waterfall, tipping them toward the falls. Water washed over the statues, splitting into three streams!
"Whoa~!"
Naruto had leaped into the air a second before the statues began to tilt.
After switching places with his Limbo shadow, Madara appeared in the sky, activated Susanoo, and hurled a Yasaka Magatama at Naruto below!
"Heh~"
Naruto focused both eyes on the Yasaka Magatama!

Whoosh!
Without any chakra touching it, the Yasaka Magatama vanished!
Madara dismissed Susanoo and landed on the shoulder of his tilted statue, drawing his conclusion. "And... making objects disappear into thin air!"
Naruto landed on the shoulder of Hashirama's tilted statue and added, "Of course, both creation and erasure are limited to nonliving things. In other words, objects without souls~."
Understanding dawned on Madara. "I see. I understand now. After Futsunomitama, you've mastered another remarkable ocular power-Ōmononushi!"
Naruto spread his hands and smiled. "Now all our intel on each other is out in the open~!"
"Hmph~" Madara chuckled. "Don't act as though you deliberately showed it to me. I figured it out myself~!"
As his words fell, Madara's azure Susanoo skeleton rose and took the form of the Two-Faced Head Deity. Together with Madara himself, it formed three different Hand Formations!
"Hmm?" At the same time, Naruto noticed that Madara's four Limbo shadows, scattered around the area, were doing the exact same thing!
