On the cold, quiet moon stood a courtyard and three small cottages.

A family was eating dinner in the courtyard.

For Kushina and her husband, it was dinner. For Kaguya, however, it was breakfast.

It was rather amusing: Kaguya's schedule was the reverse of everyone else's. She slept during the day and only rose at dusk. Every night, she sat beneath the God Tree in the courtyard, gazing at the stars, lost in thoughts no one else knew.

Worried that she would be bored, Minato had found her some books on human culture, both to help her pass the time and to acquaint her with the human world, hoping she could settle into it sooner.

More than a month had passed in this secluded life, quiet and cool, yet warm and comforting.

At the dining table, Kaguya had finished her meal and sat with quiet grace, leafing through a book.

At the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kaguya had become a little girl because the Ten-Tails' Karmic Connection had been swapped.

As a result, the tiny Kaguya's heels did not even reach the ground when she sat in her chair.

Minato had once offered to saw a little off the chair legs, but Kaguya had said it was fine as it was.

Kaguya read intently, Minato cleared away the dishes, and Kushina brought over a little stool, sat beside Kaguya, and tended to her hair.

As she read, an idea occurred to Kaguya. "Minato, I would like some seeds..."

"Hey, Grandma! Seeds? I've got some right here. What do you want them for?"

Naruto arrived on the moon through Yomotsu Hirasaka, chatting cheerfully with a large crate over his shoulder.

Kaguya put down her book and laid her little hands flat on her lap, then turned to Naruto.
