Compared to those Necron elites who could spend thousands of years constantly reliving memories of the War in Heaven, Trazyn's life was simply far too fulfilling and entertaining.

Most of Trazyn's amusement came from humans.

Precisely because of that, it could fulfill its duties without even needing to be controlled by the base's primary Cogitator.

That saved Trazyn some trouble. At least he did not need to write a deception program to fool the not-so-easily-fooled primary Cogitator.

Humanity's rate of advancement was simply too fast. As a member of a race standing at a far greater height, Trazyn could see it especially clearly.
