Trazyn was the most unusual existence among all Necrons.
He pursued only two goals.
First: to acquire as many additions to his collection as possible and satisfy his obsession with collecting.
Second: to find every possible way to restore the souls of the Necrontyr era and become a flesh-and-blood lifeform once more.
Even his initial approach toward Lox had been a mission assigned to him by the Silent King under the prophecy of the astromancer Orikan.
The astromancer claimed that, among infinitely many futures, there was one miraculous possibility—the Necrons would regain their souls, reclaim their bodies, and escape the curse of death.
And that future was connected to Lox, this insignificant human.
Trazyn deeply despised Orikan, but he trusted his old rival's expertise in prophecy.
Although the astromancer would sometimes actively travel through time and reverse developments that had strayed from his predictions in order to make them come true.
For instance, if he predicted that someone would die at a certain point in time but that person did not die, Orikan would personally intervene and fulfill his own prophecy.
Ever since leaving the Warhammer universe, Trazyn had suddenly found himself missing that old fool Orikan, and the thought made him laugh in astonishment.
Some people started fighting the moment they got together, yet missed each other once they parted.
"When Orikan's body starts malfunctioning and his logic matrix falls into irreversible error, I'll definitely add that old fool to my collection."
"And I'll give him a label: Most Unreliable Astromancer."
After grumbling a few curses, Trazyn waved Emma Frost away and told her to return to her room. He needed to speak with Lox alone.
Emma did not want to remain in the same place as Lox either.
