Mortarion had fulfilled her promise: she granted every Death Guard aboard the Endurance eternal peace. Their souls were severed from Nurgle by Isha's divine power and utterly vanished from this universe.

For them, death was an extravagantly precious ticket, one that led to peace for the soul.

When the last Nurgle daemon fell beneath the blade of the Silence Scythe, Mortarion did not hesitate. She used her immense psychic power to create a black hole, utterly destroying the Endurance's engines and reactors and letting the ancient battleship vanish amid the flames of its explosion.
