Producing exploration vessels was effortless for the Red Alert.

The Red Alert was itself a collection of STCs. Within Sotha's star system, Lox had selected an asteroid belt and established a small shipyard there.

This shipyard was nowhere near the scale of the colossal docks on Mustafar and could only produce small vessels under ten kilometers in length.

Lox had no intention of undertaking major construction in a system where Necrons lay dormant, so the shipyard would not be supplied by mining vehicles or mining ships.

In fact, the shipyard itself was a movable structure. Like a void whale, it would roam the resource-rich asteroid belt, using field generators to swallow suitable meteoric material into its belly, crush it, and extract its components.

After processing through its internal technological black box, the shipyard could continuously spit out identical exploration vessels.

Under the control of Cogitator sub-cores, these space exploration vessels would use Sotha as their point of origin and set out in every direction on one-way exploratory missions.

The antimatter engines in their holds, combined with their highly efficient use of stellar energy, allowed them to operate for centuries or even millennia without maintenance.

Of course, if they suffered nonfatal damage, the nano-cores aboard could carry out repairs to a certain extent.

Just as Lox had named the plan—the Seed Project—these small exploration vessels, only five hundred meters long, would scatter endlessly across the fringes of the eastern galaxy like dandelion seeds.

Until their energy ran out, these eyes cast into the void would periodically send back travel logs. Star charts, the conditions of the systems they visited, and any possible dangers would all be transmitted to the Red Alert's database.

"Once they travel far enough, the transmission of information will become exceedingly slow. Information will be relayed in intervals
