Adam sensed his various avatars being completely destroyed and annihilated by the runaway plasma reactors. Before that, however, he had already uploaded their separate consciousnesses to the terminal. Losing a few avatars was no great problem for him.
As for the Iron Men who had carried out the mission alongside him, Adam had taken their data and rudimentary consciousnesses with him as well. What had been destroyed in the explosion were merely metal bodies that could be mass-produced.
His logic matrix rapidly analyzed the information and data sent back, assessing the execution of the plan and reviewing the areas that had not been handled well enough.

The leader of the Iron Men recalled the maxims imparted to him by teachers such as Lion El'Jonson and Sanguinius. He had truly remembered them carefully and learned to apply them for himself.

Adam vanished from Pluto's surface. On the evacuation transport, he located Sigismund and directly activated his propulsion system, descending near the target like a missile.
His body slowly wriggled and seeped through the transport's thick armor. After entering the hold, he reassembled himself into his original form.
"We meet again, Sigismund."
The blood-soaked Black Knight abruptly raised his head and once again saw the Iron Man who called himself Adam.
"Where are your fellow kind? They're still on Pluto's surface."
