"This residence was established to host members of the school in the first place. Skord and Yvonne fully qualify as beneficiaries under the charter. They're our own people, so make sure they get good treatment."
Organizations had administrative charters, but those were ultimately rules made by people.
Even the Chanselle No. 10 villa where Roland currently lived was maintained at the Seris Joint Research Association's expense.
Trina's living expenses were also paid out of the association's accounts, under the pretext of employing a bodyguard.
It really was the complete package.
He then turned back to them. "Nevis City is a wonderful place. There are plenty of active mages here, and Arcane Salons and research gatherings are held frequently. Mages from both within and outside the school often visit this residence, too. They're all interested in the Seris School and its associated Arcana.
"I remember there are some unofficial association members at journals like Runes, Characters, and Letters, right? You can ask them to show these two around."
That last remark was directed at Senior Froya.
Senior Froya nodded. "Understood. Given their backgrounds, they should find it fairly easy to fit into those circles."
Roland had his teacher and Lie Yi, a High Mage who also worked at Runes, to guide him in such matters, so he had adapted quickly.
Skord and Yvonne, however, would have to find their own circles.
Still, with that "complete package" mentioned earlier, they should soon have introductions to help
