Carniel turned around.

The young Lainer tentatively offered his services.

"Oh?" Carniel gave it some thought. As a newcomer, he really did need a guide, so he nodded in agreement. "Two silver coins a day? That is quite cheap."

The young man froze for a moment, then hastily said, "That's for a month..."

Only then did Carniel remember that prices in the Lainer World were indeed far lower than in Atrelin. Hiring fees, daily necessities, and ordinary materials were all outrageously cheap.
