Rotting leaves and soil lay beneath everyone's feet, and a faint stench of decay hung in the damp air. As they walked, dry twigs and dead leaves rustled and snapped underfoot.

Several local officials accompanied him, including both Tronia's natives and members of the Mages' Guild dispatched from Atrelin. All wore smiles as they agreed with his remarks.

The Atrelin People had once undertaken a major campaign here, but ultimately gained little from it, leaving the place only half-heartedly administered ever since.

As his companions had explained earlier, all of this stemmed from a lack of magical resources.

After walking a little farther, Professor Anglando instructed the mage he had brought along, "Install a positioning anchor point here."

The accompanying mage acknowledged the order and immediately complied.

Before long, he returned to report, "Your Excellency, it's done."

"With that, the layout of the Triangular Formation is essentially established. Coming and going will be much easier next time."
