Li Ling felt the connection between himself and heaven and earth, and murmured to himself.
Long ago, he had heard that certain uniquely favored beings were born in response to destiny. The Flood Dragon Zhu Wu, for instance, was a surviving remnant of the Mystic Continent's dragon vein, born with an Earth Immortal Dao Fruit.
From birth, such beings possessed all manner of inconceivable divine abilities and innate gifts, allowing them to wield the power of laws and condense Dao Fruits.
Even in the Nascent Soul Realm, beings like these could rival those in the Spirit Transformation Realm.
Indeed, many human cultivators and low-ranking beings of other races cultivated by emulating these possessors of innate Dao bodies, gradually feeling out a path to the summit of the Great Dao.
This included, but was not limited to, the methods of Dao integration and true refinement.

Long ago, I knew that merging one's will with the Great Dao of heaven and earth was like the countless sentient beings of the mortal world, each with different cultures, ethnicities, and classes, and wills that were not entirely the same.
Dao integration and true refinement is, in fact, a kind of merger. The key lies in which stratum, which entity, ultimately rules.
Those who succeed advance to the Dao Realm and assimilate others. Those who fail are assimilated, becoming part of the Heavenly Dao.
This is a contradiction, and also the Great Dao's cycle of self-renewal.
As my wisdom dharma body merges with and refines the Pure Land, it is also bound here. This should be a form of existence comparable to the Blood Sea Demon Venerable's.
