Spirit Stone Mine War

The struggle over a medium-sized spirit stone mine draws all five great sects of Chu into conflict. The mine lies in the Cold Mist Forest and is known as the Cold Mist Spirit Stone Mine. Three rival camps form around it, but no sect dares begin mining independently for fear of provoking a joint attack. The deadlock lasts for decades 179 231.

The Primordial Yang Sect and Crescent Moon Valley ally against the Void Clarity School and Hehuan Sect, while Drifting Snow Tower remains independent. The five sects’ Nascent Soul patriarchs prohibit Golden Core and stronger cultivators from fighting, leaving Qi Refining and Foundation Establishment cultivators to determine the factions’ positions before the mine’s shares are divided 147.

The conflict expands into attacks on rear-area resource sites, including spirit herb gardens, as each faction attempts to force its opponents out of the contest. Peace has returned by the time Liu Yu recalls the war several years after its conclusion 153 287.
