Lin Changheng chuckled softly, speaking with casual indifference, yet there was not the slightest trace of amusement in his eyes.
The gaunt cultivator, who had been kowtowing nonstop, initially felt a surge of joy at those words, thinking he might survive this ordeal. But the next instant, he grasped their implications, and his face turned ashen again.
