He completed Spirit Transformation as Eternal Night approached Fuli, where three Dragon Lords confronted him and learned the depth of his power.

• Chu Mo used Shen Qingxi to mobilize the Mystic Court against the New World, while the True Harmony Association replaced its forces with impostors until Primordial Beginning and Yichu helped dismantle the court and confront the Heavenly Emperor.
• After Pure Keeper claimed the Mystic Court’s false Dao, Chu Mo learned about Spirit Transformation and began preparing to anchor his Golden Vault in the Spirit Realm.
• Chu Mo investigated Di Yang’s connection to the Eternal Night Heavenly Dao, warned him that it might harvest him as medicine, and arranged for a poisoned counterfeit to take his place.

The Mountain of Origin finally appeared, and Chu Mo entered it before being swallowed by a giant fish whose captors mistook him for dead.

• Chu Mo killed Purple-Gold Crown, struck down Inkscale Armor, and resisted Xuanming’s attempt to seize his root origin before escaping Netherworld.
• Yichu explained the stakes of Dao Integration, and Chu Mo moved Eternal Night’s people into Wusang Grotto-Heaven while preparing to challenge Xuanming for the Sect Master seat.

Chu Mo infiltrated the Mountain of Origin, uncovered Xuanming’s concealment of the root origin of [Life], and seized it after a battle that awakened the Mountain-Origin Heavenly Dao. He defeated Xuanming, then kept the Root Origin after Yanzhen intervened, while Xuanming retained his position as Sect Master.

• Chu Mo studied death, captured the River Spirit Cauldron, and arranged a Tidal Festival where Su Yingxue entered the Mountain of Origin and the Demonkin attacked.
• Chu Mo infiltrated the God-Worshipping Church through Lin Li and Xue Huan, then used a divine war to assimilate Xue Huan and the descending Divine Attendants.
• After Chen Feng and Yu Yao confronted him over fabricated charges, Chu Mo killed them and entered the Mountain of Origin to challenge Xuanming.
• Xuanming’s Blood Sea consumed his body, revealing the Level 65 Netherbank Heavenly Dao, while Chu Mo awakened the Mountain-Origin Heavenly Dao by directing the realm’s inhabitants to sacrifice themselves.

Chu Mo killed Xuanming, took the Sect Master position, and reached level 69, while Great Evolution and Tribulation Deliverance clashed over the River and Rain sources. As Chu Mo worked to remake Xuanming’s banner, Great Evolution moved his True Realm near the Heavenly River and Tai Xuan Tian Ming attacked Taiyuan.

• Chu Mo entered the Azure Origin Spirit-Perching Grotto-Heaven, where the Mystic Daoist and Great Evolution fought over its power before Xuanming trapped the rival Dao Lords and confronted Chu Mo.
• Chu Mo defeated Xuanming with Heaven’s Will, absorbed his nether origin, and learned that Xuanming had been one of Youxuan’s other-self manifestations.
• Chu Mo accepted the vacant Sect Master position, rejected Upper Mound’s demand that he inherit Xuanming’s karmic debt, and agreed to Yan Huan’s request to stay neutral in a future Source Holder contest.
• Chu Mo advanced from level 64 to level 69 as Great Evolution sent Luo Yao to demand the River and Rain sources, and Wuxie announced war after the negotiations failed.
• Jin Jue offered Upper Mound’s recognition of Chu Mo as Sect Master in exchange for preserving karmic debts through reincarnation, but Chu Mo refused.
