Avenger's roar was extraordinary. Locked in a struggle with himself, Mulan turned toward the huge man charging over and visibly froze for a moment. But Avenger did not stop. He seemed to understand how terrifying the figure in the shadows was and had never imagined he could win. He drove off the ground, clasped his arms tightly, turned sideways, and slammed into the shadowy figure.
Avenger was simply too fast. Mulan had only just turned to look at him when he charged into the other "Mulan."

Avenger actually slammed straight into the shadowy figure. With his attention divided, Mulan could not manage any precise maneuvers and failed to dodge in time. Avenger struck his shadow body head-on, sending them both crashing into the damaged Square Corner Tower.
Crash!
An enormous crash rang out inside the Square Corner Tower.
