Far beyond the tranquil waters of Jewel Island sailed a sizable wooden pirate ship, a large vessel resembling a galleon. Even in this era, it looked rather old-fashioned.
At the very top of its mast, a man dressed like an otherworldly version of Captain Jack clung to his perch and gazed into the distance, where light shot skyward from the direction of Jewel Island.
"Just like the legends. Not bad, pirates. Looks like the Sea Chart has been restored!"
Had Mulan been there, Walton's outfit would have astonished him. It would have brought back so many memories. Unlike Captain Jack, Walton had gone for a one-eyed look, but his outfit was every bit as flamboyant, if not more so.
After watching the light linger in the sky for over a minute before fading, Walton drew the blade at his waist and pointed it skyward.
"Lads! Look alive!"
"Aye, Captain!" "Aye!"
The hundreds of crew members aboard the pirate ship were all fired up, waving their arms or raising their weapons as they shouted back.
The light above Jewel Island finally began to fade after lasting over a minute. The Sea Chart, once broken into numerous pieces, had actually been restored completely, without a single crack remaining.
Newt and Nido stared blankly at the Sea Chart. Ocean currents moved across its surface, along with wind, clouds, and lightning. There was also a red dot on the chart.
So this was the Sea Chart leading to the Wish-Granting Pot. If only I could get my hands on it...
Greed rose uncontrollably in Newt's and Nido's hearts, but the thought of the Pirate King immediately hit them like a bucket of ice water.
Beside them, Mulan was also staring intently at the Sea Chart.
*Was this where the Wish-Granting Pot was? It would
