Madara Uchiha coughed up a mouthful of clotted blood, his hair in utter disarray. The violent impact had torn away a large chunk of flesh from his abdomen, exposing the bones and organs beneath. He looked utterly wretched. Had he not become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki beforehand and gained an immortal body, Raditz's last strike would have killed him outright.
"Lord Madara." White Zetsu, who had been lurking underground for some time, emerged from the earth and addressed Madara Uchiha respectfully.
Madara Uchiha stared grimly in the direction where Raditz and the other two had vanished, then asked White Zetsu, "Did you bring it?"
White Zetsu handed him the Rinnegan, his expression fearful as he spoke with lingering dread. "Of course. But Lord Madara, I don't think you can beat that alien."
"So what? He declared that he would destroy the Shinobi World. If we don't kill him, all of us will die."
A shadow crossed Madara Uchiha's face as he recalled the battle. Without his immortal body sustaining him, he would barely have survived even a single blow from that alien enemy.
