"Is this the Monster Association's hideout?"
After killing the nameless monster that had led him here, Ye Uchiha's Shadow Clone stared impassively at the underground cavern before him. Standing at its entrance, he could feel the bitter, chilling wind blowing against his face.
After Tatsumaki had made her move, Ye Uchiha had deliberately created a Shadow Clone and sent him after a fleeing monster. Sure enough, following its route had led him to the Monster Association's base.
"Why not just go in and wipe out their nest right now?" the Shadow Clone murmured, rubbing his smooth chin.
No sooner had the thought arisen than he firmly dismissed it. Although he possessed only a tenth of the original's strength, that was more than enough to deal with these weaklings. The question was how to keep them from fleeing in terror. How could he wipe out every last one of them?
The Monster King was a monster who had surpassed Dragon-level. A single Shadow Clone was no match for him. After all, a Shadow Clone was not the original and would dissipate after sustaining a certain amount of damage. Alerting the enemy would only make things worse.
Apart from the Monster King, he could sweep through every monster at Dragon-level and below, but he could not kill them all. If he attacked without exterminating everyone in the Monster Association, the survivors would retreat into the shadows to recuperate, then spend ten years, or even decades, preparing their revenge.
Ye Uchiha did not like leaving his enemies a way out. Once he acted, he would tear them out by the roots and burn what remained, just to ensure no small fry survived.
