The enormous Western dragon-like monster let out one final, furious roar before its entire body crashed to the ground. Its amber, gemlike slit pupils dimmed, all life extinguished.

Ye Uchiha slung the Uchiha Gunbai onto his back and jumped down from the Subdragon's head.

He had heard that every part of a dragon was valuable, so while fighting the Subdragon, Ye Uchiha had carefully avoided damaging its body, waiting for the right moment to deliver a single fatal strike.

Looking at the Subdragon carcass lying before him, three or four meters tall, Ye Uchiha took out a Sealing Scroll and tossed it toward the body.

The scroll unfurled in midair, its ink markings transforming into a dozen slender, inky chains. They coiled around the Subdragon's carcass, bound it, and dragged it into the Sealing Scroll.

"This should make some exceptional equipment," Ye Uchiha murmured.

In this fantastical otherworld of swords and magic, there were specialized artisans who could turn rare materials into magic items, Healing Potions, and Enchanted Equipment. A Subdragon's scales, claws, fangs, flesh, and blood were all high-grade materials for crafting such items.

Besides, since he had been summoned to this world, why not get himself a set of high-grade equipment? It would help his strength and performance in battle, too.

Where had he gotten the Uchiha Gunbai, you asked?

He had taken it out of a Sealing Scroll, where it had been stored. As for where it had originally come from...

He had asked Madara for it, of course. A sacred weapon passed down through generations of the Uchiha Clan, it was said to have been made from part of the God Tree. It possessed special abilities to control Wind Release and Fire Release, as well as reflect attacks. Successive clan heads had wielded it as their weapon, and even the Uchiha Clan's crest had originated from it.

Madara, the current Uchiha Clan Head, had more pride and stubborn self-respect than any of his predecessors, bar none. Intensely confident in his own strength to the point of arrogance, he naturally placed little value on the clan's sacred weapon-the Uchiha Gunbai.

So when Ye Uchiha had asked for it, Madara, his close friend, had not refused. Instead, he had generously given him the Uchiha Gunbai.

After Konoha was founded, the frequent wars had subsided, and Ye Uchiha rarely used the Uchiha Gunbai anymore. He usually stored it in the Sealing Scroll he carried with him.

After arriving in this otherworld, he had thought of all the monster hunting he would need to do to level up. Surely he could not fight every enemy barehanded, so he had taken out the Uchiha Gunbai.

Noticing the new "Summonable Servants" entry on his status panel, Ye Uchiha instinctively tapped it.

The next instant, a blue-green Hexagram Magic Circle unfolded in empty space. A dazzling light flashed and vanished, and a figure slowly emerged.

A coldly beautiful woman in moon-white robes appeared before Ye Uchiha, making his previously composed expression change abruptly in shock.

Black tomoe were embroidered on her robes and cuffs. A pair of bony horns resembling rabbit ears rose from her head, and a blood-red Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan opened in the center of her forehead. Her breathtaking face was sickly pale, and snow-white hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall. She stared at Ye Uchiha with an icy expression.

A cold, ethereal voice rang out, echoing through the air.

The woman in white slowly spoke. "...You carry Hagoromo's presence. Are you his descendant?"

"Kaguya Otsutsuki?!"

Ye Uchiha's eyes widened as he cried out her name, so startled that his Mangekyō activated on the spot.

The Rabbit Goddess-Kaguya Otsutsuki. A member of the extraterrestrial Ōtsutsuki Clan and the final boss of the Naruto world. The incarnation of the God Tree, the true form of the Ten-Tails, the creator goddess of the Shinobi World, and the Progenitor of Chakra. She possessed all three great ocular techniques-the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan-and was also the mother of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, and Hamura Otsutsuki.

With her subjects' blessings, she had given birth to Hagoromo and Hamura. To confront the renegades of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, she had grown cold and ruthless, capturing humans and transforming them into White Zetsu to serve as an army. Once her deeds were exposed, her two sons had sealed her in the moon. Before being sealed, Kaguya Otsutsuki had manifested her will as Black Zetsu, leaving him to wait and scheme for her resurrection.

Kaguya Otsutsuki was one of the most powerful beings in the Naruto world. Although the Six Paths brothers, Sasuke, and Naruto had successfully sealed her, that did not change the fact that crushing him would be as easy for her as swatting a mosquito. They were on completely different levels.

It could be said that Kaguya Otsutsuki and her creation, Black Zetsu, were what had set the entire plot of the Naruto world in motion.

Ye Uchiha's expression darkened. He had never expected his very first summoning to bring forth his own ancestor.

Given what he knew of Kaguya Otsutsuki, she harbored intense hostility toward anyone possessing chakra, wishing to reclaim all the chakra in the world. That meant he should be one of her targets, too.

At the sight of those eerie, blood-red eyes, profound disgust, hatred, and a barely perceptible trace of sorrow flashed across Kaguya Otsutsuki's face.

"All chakra in this world belongs to me. Shameless thief, return my chakra!"

Veins bulged around her eyes, and murderous intent erupted from Kaguya Otsutsuki as an overwhelming pressure swept outward like a gale.

Her silky, cascading white hair transformed into countless sharp needles and spears that shot toward Ye Uchiha, sudden swishes exploding through the air.

Just as Ye Uchiha braced for the worst and prepared to seize an opportunity to flee, something unexpected happened.

The hair hurtling toward him struck an invisible barrier, stopping just a few feet from Ye Uchiha, unable to advance any farther.

Ding-dong-

A series of clear chimes rang out, and a red notification box appeared between them.

"What is this?" Kaguya Otsutsuki tilted her head and withdrew her hair, looking puzzled.

She could not understand why her attack could not hurt Ye Uchiha. Moreover, for some reason, the deep murderous intent within her was beginning to dissolve, replaced by a desire to draw close to him and protect him.

"So that's it. She can't hurt me?" Only with the notification's assurance did Ye Uchiha breathe a sigh of relief.

The pressure this ancestor put on him was simply too great. He had wanted nothing more than to turn and run immediately, getting as far away from this dangerous woman as possible.

"Who are you?"

Without attacking again, Kaguya Otsutsuki fixed her beautiful eyes on Ye Uchiha and questioned him.

Seeing that Kaguya Otsutsuki had no intention of attacking, Ye Uchiha let out a deep breath and answered, "I'm Ye Uchiha, the Master who summoned you into the Present World."

"Summoned? Master?"

Kaguya Otsutsuki looked bewildered. "Is this a Summoning Technique?"

"Uh...you could think of it that way."

Unable to explain it clearly, Ye Uchiha gave that hesitant reply.

Kaguya Otsutsuki gave a soft snort and commanded haughtily, "Though I do not know what means you used on me to prevent me from harming you, I shall refrain from taking the chakra within you for now. However, as the price for sparing your life, you shall attend to my daily needs from this day forward."

Kaguya Otsutsuki was no fool. She quickly guessed that Ye Uchiha had done something to her that prevented her from feeling hostility toward him. Until she understood how this technique worked, she decided to temporarily abandon the idea of taking his chakra.

Most importantly, she could not sense any chakra spread across this planet. Only Ye Uchiha, standing before her, possessed her chakra.

Had everyone in this world who possessed chakra died, leaving only this Ye Uchiha before me?

Or had the renegades of the Ōtsutsuki Clan already descended and harvested this planet's chakra?

But I cannot sense those three anywhere. Besides, if they truly had arrived, they would certainly have sought me out first!

This filled Kaguya Otsutsuki, the Progenitor of Chakra, with an inexplicable, overwhelming panic. She urgently needed somewhere to calm down.

Thus, until she learned the truth, Kaguya Otsutsuki decided to spare the sinner before her and reluctantly accept him as her servant.

Hearing Kaguya Otsutsuki's words, Ye Uchiha's mouth twitched. He really had summoned an ancestor he would have to wait on hand and foot!
