he immediately shook his head.

The whole point was to get Danzo to drag Baki into this.
To make Baki confess what he'd done.
Now all that effort has gone to waste.
Seeing Danzo at a disadvantage, Baki won't dare step forward and admit anything!
As it turned out, the Zhou Cheng sitting atop the building was the real one.
The Zhou Cheng on the ground was merely a clone into which he had poured most of his chakra.
Unlike other clones, it would not disappear when attacked.
Zhou Cheng stood up. It was time to end this!
Since Baki would not confess on his own,
he would extract his memories instead.
That would mean troubling Ino again!
Zhou Cheng leaped straight off the building.
Just before he landed, he awakened the clone's mental energy and expelled Ino from its body.
Then he dismissed the clone and landed where it had been standing.
"Ah, big brother Zhou Cheng woke up! He kicked my consciousness out of his body!"
Everyone grew wary at her words.
"Hey, thanks for all your hard work!"
Zhou Cheng's signature smile appeared on his face.
The Konoha 15, who knew him best, all breathed sighs of relief.
"Big brother Zhou Cheng, are you all right?"
"Danzo said he'd controlled you with his ocular technique!"
Hinata immediately ran to Zhou Cheng's side and took his hand.
With his other hand, Zhou Cheng gently pinched Hinata's cheek. It felt wonderful!
"Don't worry, I'm fine!"
He looked at the
