Everyone in Sunagakure was stunned.
Gaara actually wanted to honor Zhou Cheng as the God of Shinobi?

In their agitation, the two elders even stopped addressing him as Lord Kazekage!
The others chimed in as well. Not a single person agreed with his idea.
"Exactly! What a towering figure the First Hokage was! He distributed the tailed beasts and ended the wars."
"How could Zhou Cheng possibly compare?"
Gaara sighed softly. My mind is made up!

"Honoring him as the God of Shinobi is simply a way to show our sincerity."
"It costs Sunagakure nothing!"
Then his gaze turned icy. Do you think losing my tailed beast means you can treat me with contempt?
"Even without my tailed beast, I am still the Kazekage. Disrespect me again, and you will die!"
His gaze swept across the room. Everyone he looked at felt as though they had plunged into a bottomless abyss of ice, chilled to the bone.

At Gaara's words, they immediately stood to take their leave, then vanished in a flash.
Temari and Kankuro sat down beside Gaara.

Both looked worried. Since losing Shukaku, Gaara's ability to keep Sunagakure in line had weakened considerably, and quite a few people had already begun stirring up trouble!
Gaara gave them a smile that looked worse than tears.
"I'm fine!"
Kankuro pointed toward the door, seething.
"I'll go kill them!"
"That'll put an end to the problem!"
Gaara shook his head. Force could only provide a temporary solution to something like this.
"Kill them, and another group will take their place!"
"It treats the symptoms,
