Kankuro was furious. As the Kazekage's son, no one in Sunagakure dared speak to him that way, especially since his younger brother was a Jinchūriki.
Who wouldn't fear a younger brother who wanted to kill people at the slightest provocation?
Zhou Cheng looked utterly unconcerned. This was Konoha. If Shinobi from other villages could still throw their weight around here, Hiruzen Sarutobi might as well quit being Hokage.
"You're just the Kazekage's kids. That's nothing special."
"Remember, this is Konoha. I don't care how powerful you are-you'll behave yourselves here!"
Zhou Cheng stood in front of Konohamaru with his arms folded, looking as though he didn't take Gaara and the others seriously at all. Konohamaru's blood surged with excitement, and Zhou Cheng seemed more impressive than ever.
With his short temper, Kankuro couldn't possibly tolerate those words. He was about to step forward and fight Zhou Cheng when a clear voice stopped him:
"Kankuro, stop. We didn't come to Konoha to fight!"
"If Gaara loses control and kills someone, Father will blame us too!"
Zhou Cheng looked up and discovered that a beautiful girl had appeared beside Gaara at some point. It was their older sister, Temari!
"Hmph! You'd better hope I don't run into you during the exams!"
Kankuro snorted angrily, turned, and walked back to Gaara's side. Deep down, he was also terrified of Gaara losing control.
When Gaara went berserk, he couldn't distinguish friend from foe. Moreover, if he lost control and Shukaku the One-Tail appeared in Konoha, it would mean all-out war between Sunagakure and Konoha. That was a responsibility far too great for a few children to bear.
Watching the lovely figure among Gaara's departing group, Zhou Cheng felt a little interested in her. If
