Ch. 221Born a Scumbag

Ye Liang met Shinnō while helping Amaru in the underground tunnels and agreed to find the final component for controlling the Zero-Tails in exchange for help leaving. He spent the night sharing a bed with Amaru and wondered if he was a born scumbag.

  • While Amaru explained the technique, Ye Liang copied her hand seals and shot more than a dozen fireballs at Sticky.

Ch. 223Fire-Breathing Stone Golem

Ye Liang and Amaru gathered materials for a component while Sticky became attached to Ye Liang, who refused to make a contract with it. After two months of exploring, they reached the final beast, but Ye Liang’s Great Fireball made it grow into a massive Stone Golem that attacked them.

  • Ye Liang’s Flowing Fire nearly burned Sticky dry, but it dispersed when he pounced on the creature, which then chose him as its master.

  • Ye Liang and Shinnō tore off Amaru’s mask, releasing the black mist and leaving Shinnō motionless.
  • Ye Liang used the Mystical Palm Technique to heal Amaru’s heart wound, but the Zero-Tails possessed Shinnō and made him strike her from behind.
