"Wow! A pool!" She pressed herself against the glass, gazing at the enormous heated indoor pool, her little face flushed with excitement. "Toru, can I go in and play?"
"Of course. The swimsuits are in the wardrobe in the dressing room. Go pick one."
A moment later, Hanabi burst out like a little cannonball in a navy-blue school swimsuit and plunged into the water with a splash, sending spray everywhere. Like a happy little fish, she swam freely back and forth.
"Toru, come in and play with me!" Floating on the water, Hanabi waved at Toru Kujyo by the poolside.
"You girls go ahead." Toru Kujyo smiled and shook his head. His gaze swept across the pool, then settled on another room nearby. "There's something even more fun over there."
He took Hanabi, who still hadn't had her fill of swimming, into a larger room. It was practically a miniature indoor sports center, with a regulation table tennis table on one side and even a small basketball court on the other.
"Wow!" Hanabi was running out of ways to express her amazement.
Toru Kujyo picked up a paddle and tossed another to Hanabi. "Want a game?"
"You're on! I'm the table tennis champion of my class!" Hanabi immediately brimmed with fighting spirit.
They traded shots at the table tennis table, then played basketball for a while. Only when Hanabi was exhausted and drenched in sweat did she finally stop, thoroughly satisfied.
"Do you... play here all by yourself?" Hanabi asked curiously, slumping onto the floor.
"Of course not." Toru Kujyo handed her a bottle of water and explained, "Naruto and the other boys have energy to spare. I set this place up for them. Oh, right, there's also a wine cellar and a recreation room upstairs for Lady Tsunade. Why
