Toru Kujyo understood their concerns. They were ninja, after all. He nodded. "You're right. I was short on time and materials, so this was the only style I could make. I'll work on improving it, adding chakra threads for protection and warmth so it can be both attractive and practical."
Hinata's face grew even redder, and she murmured, "And these clothes... they show off our figures too much..."
Toru Kujyo cleared his throat. He really hadn't considered that. He hurried to explain, "Well, I didn't have time to prepare the outer-layer material, so this will have to do for now. Next time, I'll definitely think everything through." To avoid any awkwardness, he quickly changed the subject. "Anyway, now that you've both changed into your new clothes, how about we take a few more pictures together?"
"Sure!" Hanabi perked up immediately.
Toru Kujyo set down the camera, and the three of them gathered together. Hanabi suggested, "Let's make a heart with our hands!" She and Hinata each held out a hand to form half a heart, and Toru Kujyo extended his own. Their three hands came together in a complete heart. The camera captured the moment, warm and playful.
"Let's stand back-to-back and make finger guns!" Hanabi came up with another idea. The three stood back-to-back. Toru Kujyo and Hanabi extended their index fingers and thumbs like guns, while Hinata shyly held her fists at her waist, looking cute all the same.
After that, Toru Kujyo suggested several more fun poses. Hinata gradually relaxed, smiling more and more. Laughter filled the living room, and even Toru Kujyo wore a rare, easy smile as he enjoyed this moment of warmth.
"Toru, you should put on the clothes we gave you, too!" Hanabi suddenly suggested. "Let's take pictures together!"
