Ch. 41Gangzi: Xiao San, I Think We’ve Walked into a Pigsty

Yu Xiaogang discovered that lightning had given Luo Sanpao a powerful explosive ability and began planning to seek further evolution. After he went hunting and provoked a herd of wild boars, Tang San rescued him, and they fled into what Yu Xiaogang called a pigpen.

  • Tang San found Yu Xiaogang after Luo Sanpao’s fur darkened, and the next morning Yu Xiaogang confirmed that Luo Sanpao had gained a lightning attribute.
  • Luo Sanpao’s Thunderous Fart exploded and blasted Tang San and Yu Xiaogang away, so Yu Xiaogang proposed using its new power to charge at enemies and self-destruct.
  • Yu Xiaogang considered exposing himself and Luo Sanpao to more lightning to trigger another evolution, while Tang San tried to steer him away from the idea.
  • Yu Xiaogang left to hunt, but returned chased by dozens of wild boars, including one centuries-old boar.
  • Tang San used Blue Silver Pole Vault to carry Yu Xiaogang away from the herd, and Yu Xiaogang said they seemed to have entered a pigpen.

Ch. 42Tang San: Teacher, I'm Counting on You

Tang San and Yu Xiaogang survived their self-detonation-style flight but landed battered, hungry, and stranded on an official road. When they encountered the blacksmith and his daughter, who recognized them as peeping toms, Tang San shoved Yu Xiaogang toward them and fled responsibility.

  • Tang San’s midair pole-vault jump worked, but he and Yu Xiaogang crashed onto a road after flying uncontrollably.
  • Yu Xiaogang declared their self-detonation style a victory, while both men realized they had gone nearly two days without food.
  • Tang San recognized the blacksmith and his daughter approaching in a cart and tried to avoid being noticed.
  • The blacksmith’s daughter recognized Tang San and Yu Xiaogang as the peeping toms from before and called her father over.
  • Tang San decided to escape by pushing Yu Xiaogang toward the pair, saying he was counting on his teacher.
