"Big brother, why did you agree to go to that lousy school? That guy doesn't look like a good person at all. Who knows what rotten fart of a scheme he's holding in!"
Chen Yang smiled faintly, raised his hand, and gently pinched Xiao Wu's soft cheek, his touch tender and doting.
"I'm not going to Shrek Academy to study. I want to rescue a lost little kitten and a Little Demoness."
"Huh? Are they some new kind of Soul Beast?"
Utterly baffled, Xiao Wu raised a hand to scratch the back of her head. She had no idea what Chen Yang meant by a little kitten and a Little Demoness.
Chen Yang offered no further explanation. He simply looked at her with a mysterious, meaningful smile.
Seeing that he refused to elaborate, Xiao Wu puffed out her cheeks indignantly and muttered under her breath.
"Hmph~ Fine, don't tell me. I'll figure it out sooner or later."
Amused by her sulking, Chen Yang reached out to rub her rabbit ears, but Xiao Wu turned her head away in a fit of pique, dodging his hand.

After the incident at Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy, most of the students packed up and left, preparing to study in other cities.
Tang San set off with Yu Xiaogang to enroll at Shrek Academy in Suotuo City.
Meanwhile, Chen Yang and Xiao Wu took a carriage to Holy Soul Village.
After they paid and climbed out, Xiao Wu looked around curiously, her big eyes surveying their surroundings, her face full of wonder at everything new.
A few villagers who had finished their farmwork were passing the village entrance with tools over their shoulders. Seeing the unfamiliar, good-looking Chen Yang and Xiao Wu, they couldn't help taking a few extra looks.
Chen Yang approached them and spoke calmly and politely.
"Uncle, could I trouble you for directions to Holy Soul Village's Back Hill?"
The villager lowered his hoe, smiled good-naturedly, and pointed toward the rear of the village.
"It's the wooded hills at the northernmost end of the village. That's where we usually go to gather firewood and medicinal herbs. Just follow this road straight ahead. Once you pass the far end of the village, you'll reach the Back Hill Woods."

Holding a bottle of soda, Chen Yang drank as he walked and replied casually, "It's a secret~ Let's head to the Back Hill first and find a waterfall. You'll know then."

Following the directions, the two entered the woods on Holy Soul Village's Back Hill.
The deeper they went, the quieter their surroundings grew. Even the birdsong became much sparser.
They walked for more than half an hour without seeing any sign of a waterfall.

After they passed through a dense thicket, a modest waterfall appeared before them.
Chen Yang led Xiao Wu up to the waterfall.
Water spilled down from the cliff, concealing the rock face behind it. An ordinary person would never notice anything unusual.
But he knew perfectly well that behind the waterfall lay the cave where Tang Hao had hidden Ah Yin's true body.

Several enormous rocks burst out of the earth and flew into the air. With each punch Er Ming threw, the boulders lodged precisely in the watercourse above the waterfall.
The rushing water stopped abruptly, revealing a cave behind it.
"Wow! There's actually a cave back there! Big brother, how did you know?"
Xiao Wu covered her mouth, her face filled with shock.
The corner of Chen Yang's mouth curled upward, and he gave the same answer as before.
"It's a secret~ Er Ming, sorry for the trouble, but could you lift us into the cave?"
"Sure."
Er Ming spread his broad palm, letting Chen Yang and Xiao Wu step onto it, then slowly raised his hand to deliver them to the cave entrance.
"Thanks, Er Ming. Here, have these Pokéblocks."
Chen Yang took twenty Pokéblocks from his system space and placed them in Er Ming's hand.
"Rrrr~"
Er Ming let out a satisfied rumble, then turned into a streak of white light and returned to the Master Ball.
Xiao Wu pouted unhappily. All those Pokéblocks Er Ming had eaten were supposed to be hers!
"Big brother~ Next time, just give him two or three as a token gesture. Er Ming can't appreciate fine bran."
