But Auben certainly could not.
No one understood Auben better than Arthur did.

Arthur knew it all.
After all, given their current relationship, they saw each other every day.
Arthur looked at the black, gold-stamped invitation that had been left on the gate of 2 Kirk Street at some unknown point. His furrowed brow had long since relaxed-although he was not certain who had sent the invitation under "Auben's" name.
Still, there were roughly three possibilities.
First, that fellow from the Death Poetry Society.
Second, the last descendant of the Blood Clan.
Third, someone trying to fish in troubled waters.
All three had bad intentions.
But those bad intentions also confirmed that "Auben" was alive, and that "Auben" had committed murder.
That was naturally good news for Arthur!
As for the dangers lurking beneath the surface?
Arthur decided to let someone more qualified handle them-
