Fontel stood beside the carriage in a black formal suit and a broad-brimmed hat steeped in the style of South Los's old nobility, topped with a plume of white swan feathers-the young Fontel preferred a plain hunting outfit, or an even simpler suit.
But Steward Vic would not allow it.
