Arthur's brow furrowed, then he lowered his eyes as though deep in thought.
About five seconds later, Arthur let out a soft sigh-
"So that's how it is!"
As he spoke, the young "Medium" looked at Rick and Dill.
"Do you know what happened last night?"
Rick and Dill exchanged glances.
What happened last night?
Both men looked utterly bewildered.
Arthur saw their confusion.
Hmm, they don't know?

After all, Arthur had no way of knowing just how much Rick had obtained from those ruins.
So Arthur needed to probe a little.
And at this stage, what could be more suitable than the information on "Ascendants" he had obtained from the Chief Swordswoman?
Secretly watching their expressions closely, Arthur lowered his voice-
"Rick, do you have a ward against prying eyes here?"
"I do!"
Rick immediately nodded, walked to a corner of the Barn, and picked up a waterskin. Then he pulled out the stopper and poured the pale red liquid inside over the door and window areas first.
Next, he poured a circle around the three of them.
Meanwhile, Dill brought Arthur a chair.
"Thank you, Dill."
Arthur responded politely.
"It's the least I can do."
Already thoroughly convinced and filled with admiration, Dill smiled at Arthur, then turned and went to the corner to pick up another waterskin.
That waterskin contained the same pale red liquid.
Arthur's gentle expression remained unchanged, but as his gaze swept over the pale red liquid, he inwardly exclaimed-
*Sure
